Parents and Carers

Guide us O God, to be the best we can be: In every thought, in every word and in every deed.

We are blessed to have a really supportive school community. Relationships are strengthened through our welcoming ethos, transparent operations and keenness to build the very best community that we can.

Always come and talk to us about things that may be worrying you or your child; no concern will be considered too small. We regard our families and carers as the experts of our children and we welcome your input and support. Don't forget to tell us the good things too - we celebrate your child's achievements every Friday in our whole school assembly to which everyone is welcome!

Safe Work Statement from Lancashire County Council to all schools (July 2024)

In recent weeks and moths, we have received increased reports of harassment, bullying and abuse towards school staff. School staff must be respected, and we have a zero-tolerance policy on harassment, bullying and intimidation. All staff have the right to be treated with dignity and respect without the fear of threatening behaviour, verbal abuse or violence. It is not acceptable to write derogatory or inflammatory posts on social media. Abusive telephone calls will be ended. Such behaviours will not be tolerated and action will be taken against those who behave or act in such ways.

To support positive relationships between families and our school we have a code of conduct attached at the bottom of this page.

Our close relationship with LAncashire Adult Learning team allows us to offer and support your access to lots of learning opportunities, please see below for the latest courses from Spring 2024 onwards:
